I tell my son every day i love him.. not in so many words cos he gets embarrassed..
so i do it in other ways its summat I've always done..
i know how he feels cos shows of affection would embarrass me too, i wouldn't know how to accept a compliment graciously.

what you've never had you never miss that's always been my motto. i,m just me..
if i cuddled mam shed say " oohh give over" i think with me it s lack of confidence,
in a nutshell if you don't expect it you aren't disappointed..
